The Bimbo® Global Race is for everyone: competitive runners, casual walkers, families, friends, and everyday joggers looking to join Bimbo's healthy, active lifestyle initiative. The race happens simultaneously on the same day in 22 countries worldwide! Bimbo Bakeries is also proud to partner with local area food banks during September (Hunger Awareness Month). Waiver

I am submitting this participant release (“Release”) with the understanding that it will be used to determine my eligibility as a participant in a BIMBO® 2026 Global Race, 10k/5k (the “Race”), hosted by Bimbo Bakeries USA, Inc. (“BBU”). I represent that the information I have provided above is accurate and that I have the right to execute this Release. 
I understand and acknowledge that running/walking a Race is a potentially hazardous activity and that I should not participate and run/walk the Race unless I am medically able and comfortable in doing so. By executing this Release I am affirmatively representing that I am in good physical condition, capable of participating in the Race, and that I am not aware of any medical or health condition, or of any physical defect that would cause me to be unable to participate in the Race, or that would otherwise result in injury to myself or others or aggravate any medical, health or physical condition. 
I assume all risks associated with running/walking the Race, including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants and/or objects, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, or extreme cold; all such risks being known or of which I am aware, and which are understood by me. I hereby further understand and knowingly undertake the risks inherent in the conditions of the road and traffic on or near the course. Having read this Release and knowing these facts, and in consideration of BBU accepting this Release and permitting my participation in the Race, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release BBU, Grupo Bimbo S.A.B de C.V., Event Director (Up & Running Group),  and their subsidiaries (For Soccer Ventures, LLC), Book That Event, LLC, affiliates, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, the Global Race Staff, and all of their respective directors, officers, employees, volunteers and assigns the Rose Bowl, the City of Pasadena, and Troon Golf LLC  (collectively, “Released Parties”) from all claims, injuries, losses, damages or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in the Race (including any travel/activity related thereto or any injury or death). 
I grant BBU and its designees the right to use my name, city, and state of residence, and photograph or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes online and off-line in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without additional compensation, notiﬁcation or permission, unless prohibited by law. I understand that I may be photographed, videotaped and otherwise recorded by BBU (collectively, "Footage") while participating in the Race. Footage will be owned by BBU who has the right to use, edit, adapt, post, stream, copy and exploit such Footage and all elements embodied therein, including the names and likenesses of any persons appearing in the Footage, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised throughout the world, in perpetuity, for advertising, promotional, trade and other purposes. 
I understand that the personal data I’ve provided in connection with my Race participation including, but not limited to, my name, phone number, date of birth, email address, city and state of residence and photograph or likeness may be collected, processed, stored and otherwise used for the purposes of conducting and administering the Race. I understand this data may also be used by BBU to verify my identity and contact me in the event I qualify for any applicable award in connection with my Race participation. I further understand my information may also be transferred to and from countries outside of my jurisdiction of residence, including the United States. Such other countries may not have privacy laws and regulations that provide the same level of protection to those that exist in my jurisdiction of residence. By providing any data in connection with the Race, I hereby expressly consent to such transfers of my personal data to and from the United States or other countries. I have the right to review, rectify or cancel any personal data held by BBU that I provided in connection with my Race participation by sending an email to datospersonales@grupobimbo.com with the subject line “BIMBO® 2025 Global Race”. Otherwise, all personal data collected from my Race participation is subject to BBU's Privacy Policy, located at https://bimbobakeriesusa.com/privacy-policy. 
As it applies to my participation in this race, I agree to abide by the Center for Disease Control (CDC)’s recommendations for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 and attest to having read the CDC’s guidance at: https://www.cdc.gov. I also agree to abide by any COVID-19 distancing and other safety guidelines issued by the state, the community or by this race for my participation in this race. 
This event follows the standard running industry policy: All entry fees are non-refundable. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control such as a natural disaster or emergency or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. We reserve the right to change the details of the event without prior notice. I understand that my entry fee is non-refundable, and bib numbers are 
non-transferable. 
I warrant and represent that I have the full right and power to enter into this Release, and that the 
terms of this document do not in any way conﬂict with any existing commitment on my part. 
It is understood and agreed that this is a complete RELEASE and DISCHARGE of all claims and rights of the undersigned against the Released Parties, and that no action will be taken by or on behalf of the undersigned with respect to any such rights; it being understood that this release shall be binding upon the parents, guardians, heirs, executors, and administrators of the undersigned. 
This section to be read and signed by parent/legal guardian of the participant if the participant is a 
minor (under 21 if a MS resident, under 19 if an AL resident): 
As the parent/legal guardian of the above-named participant, I hereby waive and release on behalf of my child, any and all claims, and causes of action, or liabilities which may hereafter accrue against the Released Parties, by reason of my child’s participation in the Race. In addition, I accept full responsibility for the care and supervision of my child throughout the duration of the Race.
